Skills for Labour and Birth (Active Birth)
The Skills for Labour and Birth Workshop runs on a Saturday 1-5pm and is full of tips and techniques to prepare you for a great birth. It includes birth positions, visualisations, relaxation, massage and the role of your support person.
This workshop is best done 3-4 weeks before your baby's birth day, and will refresh your memory on the 'how labour works' part of your earlier classes.
This workshop assumes you have a basic understanding of physiological labour.
It will not cover medical interventions and drug based pain relief, however we will include coping strategies.
Also not covered is postnatal recovery including baby care and breastfeeding.
Classes run with up to 8 couples - if the class you want is full please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will try our hardest to accommodate your wishes or endeavour to add a new class. Better still, book early to avoid disappointment!
Fee: $80.00. Please note a 20% admin fee is charged for cancellations. There is no refund for cancellations less than 48 hours prior to the commencement of the workshop.
